Marking the End of the Blogathon with Contest Winners
The results are in! I selected the four winners of the Power Words contest through a highly sophisticated and scientifically proven method. You know, the ol’ pull the slips of paper out of the hat routine.
Here they are…
The numbers on each slip of paper represent the comment number to the original post. That means I’ll be sending these three ladies a No. 2 Pen:
Jennifer Willis (comment #25)
Clara Mathews (#8)
Michelle Rafter (#20)
The grand prize ($50 Barnes & Noble gift card) goes to Stephanie Suesan Smith (#2).
Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to everyone who participated in the contest. I plan to talk more about these power words here on the No. 2 Pen blog, and I hope you’ll share your ideas along with me.
May has been a challenging month, but a great month as well. Although I am happy the 2010 Blogathon is over, I look forward to more daily blog posts this time next year. Will you join the Blogathon?

Four winners? That’s awesome! Congratulations. And I used that sophisticated selection process when I was writing for b5media two years ago. Works every time.

Yes, Sara, love this idea, even though I missed the contest. I dig the proof pic of your selection process too!

I love it! Yes, the picture is great! Don’t know why I never thought of taking a picture. Oh, I know, I didn’t always have a public place to post it! WaaHoo – blogs/websites.

Sara, I loved the idea for this contest. It was fun to see what words immediately came to everyone’s mind. Also, congratulations on completing the Blogathon! I agree, I’m happy that the Blogathon is over. And I’m going to do it next year. Do you think you will?

I plan to do it again, but it all depends on workload at the time. Something that’s impossible to predict!

Sara, I came to your blog via an ad on Facebook. Looks like a site worth returning to!
As a new reader finding this post about the winners I was a little frustrated. Would have liked hrefs to the winning entries. What do you think?
Regards,
-james.
