Q&A’s With Yours Truly

In addition to the writing I (Sara Lancaster) do here for the No. 2 Pen, I also do quite a bit of other writing too. I run several different blogs and I’m working on a forthcoming children’s book and on a forthcoming novel.
To tell you a little bit more about that work and about who I am in general, I’ll post little bits of info here and there. In this episode, I thought I’d share two different Q&A’s I’ve participated in recently.
Your Denver Freelance Writer

This is the view from my former residence in Capital Hill, just south of Denver's downtown.
Although I’m not in Denver all the time, this freelance writer considers Denver her home. I’ve lived here off and on for close to 15 years and while I didn’t grow up here and have little family that lives in Denver, I can’t imagine using any other city for an address.

A Writer’s Book Recommendations

None of us are lacking in book options for our next read, but sometimes it’s difficult to filter through all the options on the shelf to find a book that will truly satisfy your reading desires. Bestseller lists are a good resource, but definitely not the only resource.
When in doubt, turn to a writer to tell you what’s hot and what you’ll like. Through the Blogathon I’ve found a few writer’s who do an excellent job highlighting new books from the latest and greatest authors. Check out these sites for some awesome book suggestions.
