Should a business ebook cost $3? What about $19? $59?
Some say that businesses should charge for an ebook, because a price tag adds a layer of perceived value to the product. Others argue a price tag only stops the spread of a message. At No. 2 Pen, we recommend that our business clients NOT charge for a PDF ebook. There are exceptions to this “no-charge” rule, but we’ll get into that later. Once you’ve committed to content marketing with an ebook, the real challenge begins. What do you write about?
To help you generate your ebook topic ideas, I’ve created a fictional company, “The Purple Paper Clip Company,” and brainstormed the following list of 55 ebook topic ideas. Each of these topics does two things:
1) Grabs the reader’s attention
2) Solves a problem for the reader

First things first, what is content marketing? Content marketing is about promoting your business with well-thought-out messaging (copy, video, and pictures). When implementing a content marketing strategy, distribute the content through various channels, but always keep the end-goal in mind: create content that attracts your target market and will eventually (and hopefully) convert them to customers.
